Ahmed Aamouche

Ahmed Aamouche was born in Agadir, Morocco. He received his M.S. degree of physics in 1993 at Paris-Sud University. Under the supervision of Professor M. Ghomi, he obtained the Ph.D. degree in 1997 from Pierre and Marie Curie University, France. He served as a Research Fellow from 1998 to 2000 at University of Southern California (USA) with Professor P.J. Stephens leading an assignment of a French pharmaceutical company (Sanofi Inc.). From 2000 to 2003, he served as a Research Associate in the project of Professor E. Goormaghtigh at Free University of Brussels. In late 2003, he joined the Cadi Ayyad University (Marrakech) on a faculty position in physics. Presently, he serves as a Professor Habilité at Faculté Polydisciplinaire de Safi, where he is developing research subjects in molecular spectroscopies and quantum modeling. Specifically, he is studying the infrared spectroscopy measurement techniques and its applications to pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis.
