Fazlul Huq serves as an Associate Professor of biomedical science at the School of Medical Sciences, Sydney Medical School, The University of Sydney, Cumberland, NSW, Australia. Huq holds B.S. Hons (chem) (Dhaka), M.S. (inorg chem) (Dhaka), Ph.D. (chemical crystallography) (London), D.I.C. (Imperial College), and DipEd (Charles Sturt). He has publications over 190. He has successfully supervised 14 Ph.D. and 5 M.S. students. Huq's research interests include studies on platinum-based anticancer drugs; drug combination as a means of overcoming drug resistance in cancer; molecular modeling analysis of drug metabolism.
