Wenjie Mai

Wenjie Mai works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. Mai received his B.S. degree in physics from the Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2002, and a Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, in 2009. He currently teaches various physics courses for undergraduate and graduate students. His research focuses on synthesis, characterization, and device applications of nanomaterials. Mai has authored and coauthored 40 SCI papers published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including Science, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, Applied Physics Letters, and Nanotechnology, and these papers have been cited for more than 1500 times.
