Amir R. Forouzan received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree with the highest distinction from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2004. From August 1999 to May 2004, he served as a Research Fellow at the Iran Telecommunication Research Center. From June 2004 to October 2008, he worked at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, and from November 2008 to January 2012 he was with the Electrical Engineering Department, KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. Since February 2012, he has worked at the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran. His research interests include dynamic spectrum management in DSL, MIMO and OFDM communication systems, ultrawideband radio, and wireless and optical CDMA.
