In Sik Chung

In Sik Chung is a Professor of Biotechnology at the Department of Genetic Engineering, and Chair of the Graduate School of Biotechnology at Kyung Hee University, Korea. He served as Director of the BK21 Center for Functional Biomaterials from Natural Resources from 2006 to 2012. He has been a visiting scientist at both Cornell University in 1992 and The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2001. He received his B.S. from Seoul National University, Korea in 1976 and his Ph. D. from Auburn University, USA in 1986. His research interests in the fields of entomology and insect cell biology are related to synthetic biology and molecular biotechnology of dipteran and lepidopteran insect cells.
