Sui Pheng Low

Sui Pheng Low received his D.S., Ph.D., M.S. (in engineering), B.S. (in building) (honors), and Dip. Bldg. (diploma in building) degrees from the University of Birmingham (Birmingham, UK), University College London (London, UK), University of Birmingham, National University of Singapore (NUS) (Singapore), and Singapore Polytechnic (Singapore), respectively. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB). Professor Low has served as a Vice Dean and Head in the NUS School of Design and Environment and the NUS Department of Building, respectively. He currently teaches project management, quality, productivity, and development technology and management in the B.S. (project and facilities management) program and M.S. (project management) program at NUS. He is a winner of numerous best paper and teaching excellence awards; he has also consulted, researched, and published extensively on project management, including sustainability issues relating to the construction industry. Low has published more than 500 journal and conference papers and authored thirteen books relating to construction project management. Professor Low is currently the Regional Editor (Southeast Asia) for the International Journal of Construction Management. He is a member of the editorial/advisory boards of more than 20 leading international refereed journals and is frequently called upon to serve as an External Examiner and Expert Reviewer in the scientific committees of international symposiums.
