I obtained my medical degree from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1991. Then I moved to London to study Neuroscience at Institute of Psychiatry at PhD level. After this period, I was trained in internal medicine and obtained MRCP (membership of the Royal College of Physicians) certificate. I then went through 4 years of training in Clinical Neurology at Birmingham Deanery and obtained Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training. I was then awarded National Clinician Scientist Fellowship in Oxford Center for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRIB) during which I studied neurodegenerative disorders using advance MRI techniques. I now practice both in UK and Iran.
