Vasileios Papadopoulos Associate Professor of Surgery Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, Greece Vasileios Papadopoulos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1962. He received the Medical degree and the Ph.D. degree from the Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1987 and 1998, respectively. From 1989 to 1996 he received the specialty in general surgery, first in the Naval Hospital Athens, Greece, and then in 1st Surgical Propedeutic Clinik of Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, A.H.E.P.A Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece. Employment: 2000-2005: Lecturer of Surgery, 2005- 2010: Assistant Professor of Surgery, 2011 - Present: Associate Professor of Surgery, in 1st Surgical Propedeutic Clinic Aristotle’s University, Thessaloniki, Greece. He is instructor of Advance Trauma Life Support, since 2005 and he is member of 22 Greek and European Medical Associations. He participated in 184 Greek and International Congresses.
