Ping S. Huang

Ping S. Huang received his B.S.E.E. degree from Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, Taiwan, in 1985, his M.S. degree in computer science from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, Calif, USA, in 1990, and his Ph.D. degree in electronics and computer science from University of Southampton, Southampton, UK, in 1999. After that, he was appointed at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung Cheng Institute of Technology as an Associate Professor until July 2005 then a Professor and Department Head until July 2007. Currently, Huang works as a Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Ming Chuan University, Taiwan. His research interests include biometric identification, information hiding, pattern recognition, and multimedia applications using FPGA.
