Cheng Jin

Cheng Jin (S'07-M'12) received the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in communication engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2012. He was with the Institute of Microelectronics, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore, from 2011 to 2013. Since January 2014, he has joined Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, as an Associate Professor with the School of Information and Electronics. He has published and presented over 40 technical papers in journals/conferences. His current research interests include the design of microwave/mm wave transceiver front-end for various wireless communication systems including radar systems and biomedical applications and the design of small and planar antennas for the transceiver front-ends. Jin has served on review boards of various technical journals, including IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques and IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, IEEE Transactions on Antenna and Propagation, and IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters and IET Electronics Letters. He was the designated Reviewer for 2013 IEEE Symposium on Wireless Technology and Applications (ISWTA 2013) and TPC Member for ISWTA 2014. He was the recipient of the 2011 ICICS Recognition of High Quality Paper Award, Singapore, and he was the recipient the 2012 IEEE Singapore MTT/AP Chapter Best Student Paper Contest Award. His name appears in 30th Pearl Anniversary Edition of Marquis Who's Who in the World (USA).
