Yu-Ming Fan

Yu-Ming Fan received his M.D. degree from Shanxi Medical University, China, in 1984. Then he obtained the M.S. degree in toxicology and pharmacology from Preventive Academy of Medical Science in 1988. He served as an Associate Professor at the National Institute for Food and Drugs Control in 1997. From 1998 to 2001, he conducted researches on ethiopathogenic, immunological, and therapeutic aspects of mycobacterium avium-intracellulare complex infection in AIDs patients at Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Roma, Italy. Fan is responsible for conducting preclinical safety evaluation of drugs as SD. He authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and edited a couple of books.
