Cinzia Allegrucci

Cinzia Allegrucci graduated in chemistry and pharmaceutical technologies at the University of Perugia (Perugia, Italy) in 1995. She obtained a Pharm.D. degree (EU-qualified) in 1996 and a Ph.D. degree (Cum Laude) in biochemistry from the same university in 2001. Dr. Allegrucci served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2001 to 2006 in the School of Biosciences and Human Development (University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK). In 2007, she joined the spin-out company EvoCell Ltd. as Senior Research Fellow. Dr. Allegrucci was appointed as a Lecturer in 2009 and she is currently an Associate Professor of cancer and stem cell biology at the University of Nottingham. Dr. Allegrucci published 40 papers in leading scientific journals and received the Rotary International Award and Vice-Chancellor’s outstanding academic achievement awards. She is an Executive Member of the Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Centre and holds a Professional Membership with the UK General Pharmaceutical Council.
