Eric Le Bourg

Eric Le Bourg was born in 1957 in France. In 1982, he got a French Ph.D. degree and in 1990 a French Doctorat d’ État degree (similar to a D.S. degree). He is performing research on aging and longevity since 1979, as a student and postdoctoral, and since 1985, as a Researcher of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). His main concerns are mild stress, behavior, learning, evolution, and demography not only in Drosophila melanogaster but also in human beings. He has written three books in French for the lay public and academics and edited with Suresh Rattan a collective book on the effects of mild stress on aging and longevity.
