Mengxia Xie

Mengxia Xie was born in Luoyang, Henan province of China, in 1962. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Zhenzhou University (Zhenzhou, China) in 1983 and NanKai University (Tianjin, China) in 1986, respectively. Since 1986, he has been working at Beijing Normal University. From 1996 to 1998, he worked at the Department of Chemistry, University of Bologna, as a Visiting Scholar. In 2006, he received his Ph.D. degree in biological chemistry from Beijing Normal University, China. Presently, he is a Professor and major in molecular spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry. His research activities encompass three major areas: pharmaceutical analysis, interaction mechanism of drug, and biomacromolecules; veterinary drug residues and food safety; and examination of suspicious document.
