Mustafa K. Sezgintürk

Mustafa K. Sezgintürk received his B.S. degree in chemistry from the Ege University, Izmir, Turkey, in 1998, followed by the M.S. (2002) and Ph.D. (2007) degrees in biochemistry from the same university. Sezgintürk is a Professor of biochemistry at the Department of Chemistry in the University of Namik Kemal, Turkey. Sezgintürk’s research focuses on biosensors for early diagnosis of cancer biomarkers. Ongoing projects range from the development of the new biosensor systems for different cancer biomarkers, especially breast and lung cancer biomarkers, to the characterization of the electrode surfaces by the help of EIS, SEM, and AFM.
