About this Journal

Advances in Acoustics and Vibration is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that acts as a platform for dissemination of innovative and original research and development work in the area of acoustics and vibration. The target audience of the journal comprises both researchers and practitioners. Articles with innovative works of theoretical and/or experimental nature with research and/or application focus can be considered for publication in the journal.

Advances in Acoustics and Vibration is archived in Portico, which provides permanent archiving for electronic scholarly journals, as well as via the LOCKSS initiative. It operates a fully open access publishing model which allows open global access to its published content. This model is supported through Article Processing Charges. Advances in Acoustics and Vibration has recently been accepted for coverage in the Emerging Sources Citation Index, which is the New Edition of the Web of Science that was launched in November 2015. This means that any articles published in the journal will be indexed in the Web of Science at the time of publication.
